Hope Package:

Since 2003, our fund has provided over 2185 Hope Packages and over 500 additional Childhood Series Cancer Books to the patients and their families Treated at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia:

1) A Childhood Cancer Series Book. Depending on their diagnosis the family will receive either:Childhood Cancer: A parent's guide to solid Cancers, or Childhood Leukemia: A guide or families, friends & Caregivers, or Childhood Brain & Spinal Cord Tumors: A guide for families,friends & caregivers.

2) A journal, so they can record what they are feeling or draw a picture or keep notes.

3) Notecards to write Thank you notes.

4) A WaWa gift card, to purchase food or gas.

5) A puzzle book, to keep occupied while they wait for appointments.

6) Coloring book and crayons.

7) A deck of playing cards.

8) Uno Cards to help pass the time.

8) Window markers, to decorate their rooms.

9) A book, The Jester has lost His Jingle (donated by the Jester Pharley Fund) or for older children an adult coloring book and colored pencils

10) A Buddy Pal for Life Fund stadium blanket either in purple or blue.

11) A Buddy Pal for Life Fund Pen and Backpack.
